Yogorino - Sale Marasino

Yogorino is a franchise and has become a global chain so you can’t really go wrong here. What made me write this review was the very friendly and helpful owner who gave us all sorts of tips on our first day in Sale Marasino. We had just arrived in the late afternoon and were looking for lunch. We saw that he had savory crepes and he made us some. They were just a snack really but just right for us. Got talking and walked away with great tips for our stay at Lake Iseo!

During our short stay in Sale-Marasino we visited Yogorino twice in the afternoon as a reward for completing our morning hikes. Usually we are looking for gelati in Italy but not in Sale-Marasino. This small store is located a short walk away from Chiesa di S.Zenone, just one block back from the lake. The store, on both afternoons, was popular with young and old. The service was friendly and inviting and we were given an explanation of what was on offer by the assistant: frozen yogurt treats, cold drinks, frappes, pancakes and crepes, coffee. At the front counter you have a selection of add-ins for the yogurt like fresh fruit, warm rich chocolate sauces, nuts. We chose a cone of yogurt each with an add-in which is placed in the cone first then topped with the yogurt and a spoon. Inside is very pleasant to sit and enjoy the yogurt, there are several tables and chairs and some good pictorial books to glance over.
