Salam - Salamanca

Incredibly unhelpful service we went into this restaurant having telephoned in advance to ensure they could take us. The reviews on Tripadvisor were stunning but quite old! When we arrived we were the only ones there. The hostess wouldn’t permit us to move a chair and then when we asked for a menu we were told we had to scan it. That is quite understandable during these covid times but we weren’t able to download the menu and she made no attempt to help us. In the end up we left having been offered no help and not even asked if we wanted a drink. Deeply disappointing. If this business wants to survive they need to re think their customer service and welcome!!

We tried to book Salam last year but it was closed on the day we were in Salamanca. All the reviews were excellent so we made the reservation on this visit. Sadly we found the food on the bland side, the server was friendly but apologetic about what we ate. I wouldn’t recommend against going here but if you like really flavoured food, I would suggest somewhere else.

Buenísimo todo, la musaka es indispensable. Hemos ido varias veces. Una suerte que haya menú para cena. Genial de precio

Imprescindible en Salamanca, lugar céntrico, tranquilo, buen servicio, comida con propuestas mediterráneas, sabores exóticos, buen uso de las especias, precios contenidos. Cada varias semanas cambian la carta, lo cual es un motivo para volver. El menú es ideal para compartir en parejas.

Todo buenísimo, como siempre, seguiremos con la tradición de cena de reyes
