This has been our number one place to hang out in the plaza for many years. An afternoon gin and tonic with some Iberico ham in the evening a pleasant dinner into the late hours. Service is first class, just ask for Naiv. The plaza at night lit up is a beautiful thing. By far the most beautiful Plaza Major in all of Spain. Sometimes you even have student musical entertainment at night.

We came here for lunch to try the traditional Hornazo and Torta Española. Regrettably, both were not very good renditions of those traditional dishes. We would have been better off trying these classics at one of the bars long the way to the Plaza Mayor.

Just been for a snack. Tapas with s difference. Original local and made in a caring professional kitchen. All classics but a healthy sprinkling of originals. Wife 's coeliac so chef comes to advise, warms me my choice is local and strong . Mostly rice,pork, fat, intestines and blood! The herb was a little overpowering but necessary. Chef came to see how I liked it and offered other restaurants doing similar food. Night was cool,so they brought out shawls! Great experience.

The best salamanca coffee, an excellent deal in the two franchises that I was. at the closing point I ordered a coffee to drink and the girl lit the machine to put it. a charm.
