Le Viking Bar & Restaurant

This area offers a variety of activities such as golfing, boating, trekking, skiing, and fishing. It is located near many beautiful places like Mont-Tremblant, Saint-Adèle, Val-David, and Saint-Sauveur, just an hour from Montreal. The natural scenery is stunning throughout the area.

Our server was very nice but the meal apart from the soup was extremely disappointing.Way too expensive for what you get. It was the table d'hote all with fancy titles. I ordered cod served on risotto. It was actually two pieces of fish and chips (frozen? at some point) thrown and too salty risotto. Our meal cost us more than Recto Verso located not too far away which was pure delight.

I found this restaurant on the internet, and the drive up the Mountain roads was very hairy. The menu provides some genuine Canadian choices of foods. I had the venison burger. The fries were excellent. The pulled pork Croque Monsieur was also excellent. i got to taste that. However, the real gem of this restaurant was the patio and the setting. You are right on a lake, in Quebec, in the mountains. You can sit and drink your wine and have your lunch while looking out at the natural beauty of the Laurentions. This was well worth the drive over the winding roads from our resort.

Went as a couple around 7pm, the hostess wanted to bring us to our table inside and seemed frustrated that we wanted to enjoy a drink on the terrace outside... it's summer in Quebec, we wanted to be outside as long as the weather permitted and there were other people outside. The evening did not start well but the setting was nice. Service dramatically improved when we did go to our table, the waitress was good and the food was fine but forgettable. Overall an average evening saved by good company.

The waitress forgot my order twice. The food wasn't bad, however the dessert is expensive. Not coming back, for sure!!!
