Contribuiți la feedbackThis has got to be the worst meal I have ever had. Lacking in any kind of quality and totally over priced. If you have a chance to buy a picnic please do do not stop here. I feel sorry for the staff who look ashamed of what they are serving. I paid €37.10 for two soft drinks two plates of watery over cooked pasta with a diar Bolognese sauce. Added to this we mistakenly bought two crème caramel thinking it was fromage blanc. Absolutely awful.
We are driving through France to Bordeaux and as we were hungry we decided to stop here to eat. I remembered having delicious food in my youth in French service stations but things must have changed. There is no doubt that this was the worst food I have ever eaten in France and I’ve eaten here a lot. I fancied some of that succulent roast chicken with lovely gravy and crispy thin french fries that they used to do so well. What I got was unappetising anaemic looking piece of cold, stringy and tough chicken with equally anaemic frozen chips, no gravy. When I asked for gravy he just pointed behind us and said ‘ketchup’. My partner had some sort of mince and pasta dish that looked bland and tasteless and the looks did not deceive. She is French and was so embarrassed at the terrible quality of the food that she complained. The man was completely disinterested, gave a Gallic shrug and said it was a chain so there was nothing that can be done. Actually there is, please don’t eat here. Of you are driving down the A83 and see this place, do not stop to eat. I guarantee that you will not find another ‘restaurant’ in France that serves food this shockingly bad. It really is truly awful.
An okay place to stop for lunch on a journey on the A83. reasonable choice of food both haot and cold. Toilets and fuel available.
Meals are correct, the reception is smiling, the premises are clean. The prices are affordable.Only small rebuke: nothing is planned for vegetarians. I was only offered the vegetables of the day.
We stopped on February 23, 2017 and we were disappointed both for the price and for the food - an immangeable calfskin shrimp = chewing gum (8€30) idem for the thigh of duck (8€50) - an olive sauce for the stock = a quarter of an olive and no sauce for the thigh of duck (an entrance desserts flat = 33€50 ) too expensive for
