La Tarentine - Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise

Cosy ,eclectic quirky ambiance, nice simple food, but they must like brot, as most comes on brot. good daily eating.

Welcome to valy, charming institution and atmosphere. simple menu of authentic Alsace and savoie farewell children well maintained. hearty food for the end of a day ski. the kind of restaurant experience they wish in the alps!

We were recommended this new restaurant by the local ski guide as we tried to find space in other restaurants. that was one of the hoighlights of our trip. the owners are out of Alsace and have their take on a local court. to the city. the restauarant is located on the main road of the city, but only on a next road between two larger ones. the waitress was really helpful to explain the dishes and not exaggerated. the children in our party had enough choice and have really enjoyed the experience. there is a small rural museum that is bound into the building that can be worth visiting during the day. relaxed atmosphere and it feels like eating in the dining room. would thoroughlyyl recommend this as an alternative to the most important and busy (also very good) local restaurants.

On the main road through the village of Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, but a little hidden from its neighbours, this Savoie-Gemach is definitiw on the look for outside. we were looking for somewhere where we could get a rustic Savoyarde menu and that was perfect for the bill. we were made to very. Welcome to the hostes, the restaurant itself is very cozy, the eating delicious and the portions are generous. la tarentine was recommended by an earlier guest in the visiting book of the chalets in which we were, I am glad that they shared it. worth visiting and I would go back there in a definitiv.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was. Tucked away up a side street in a very quaint building with an on site museum.
