La Guinguette

A lovely spot we came for a birthday lunch en famille and everyone enjoyed themselves. This was out of season and I would imagine it would be incredibly busy in the summer months. Succinct and seasonal menu but there was enough on there for our needs but then, given the name, we weren 't expecting haute cuisine. The food when it came was pretty tasty (the chips were particularly delicious, a superior kind of chip). The kids also enjoyed their meal. All in all, a very positive experience enhanced by the river and the sunshine. The service was a little on the slow side and quite absent minded (particularly given that there weren 't too many punters) but it didn 't spoil our enjoyment.

Simple with good regional product. Cooked as necessary. Very nice staff. Nothing to blame

Having given their opening hours to TripAdvisor, Google, etc... They decided one lunchtime simply not to open. Despicable. Utterly Despicable when I have walked miles to reach it in the summer sun with three young children. False advertising.
