Restaurant Amadeus - Sainte-Adèle

After living in Montreal for more than 24 years, I finally made the decision to visit this famous smoke meat restaurant.

When I crave a renowned smoked meat sandwich in Montreal, Schwartz's is always my first choice.

Had breakfast the two mornings I stayed at the spa. Both waitresses were very attentive and pleasant. They made the extra effort to speak to the English to the anglophone customers. Food was ok - perfectly cooked and presented. Coffee very hot fresh and plentiful.

We had a late lunch at this hotel and the waitress gave us great service, and compliments to the chef as the food was great. Couldnt get enough of those home made fries. At $10 a plate, I cant think of a better bargain. If rating the restaurant on the lunch menu, i would give it a 5 star. We did not have supper, but the price and menu options looked great as well, so i'm sure it was goodThe reason i give it a 3 star is because the breakfast was horrible. Very affordable at $10.95 a plate, however my omelette was runny, chunks of ham, uncooked onions. Definitely lack passion. Probably not the same chef as at lunch time. Breakfast potatoes lacked something. it looked boring and bland. The orange juice that was included in the breakfast was exactly half a glass I would go back, but not for breakfast
