Welcome, bright, well-known. excellent food, short bike ride from camping park.

After two years visit in france we were very pleased to decide our first trip to l ocean. great food and great hospitality, a very nice family business. richard will always love the crab starter and I will love the garnel. beautiful service and delicious...Menus to fit all budgets. also great rooms, a simple walk to the sea and a beautiful location to find rest and lots of fresh air. we'll be back as soon as we can max.

I had a good menu at lunch, which was good. friendly service, elegant spacious dining room. the hotel/restaurant is located directly on the sea with magnificent views of the vendée coast.

Visited the restaurant océan for Sunday dinner with French friends who live near. the hotel restaurant is located next to the clemenceau house and museum right next to the sea with free parking opposite. it was very busy when we arrived, but we were done. very welcome and service during the meal was friendly and very efficient with employees who could speak both French and English. the food was excellent and there was a good choice of weeping, including local Vendéen wines from Mareuil-sur-Lay. a walk along the adjacent beach promenade is recommended afterwards. combined, a very good selection of restaurant for a typical French Sunday dinner with a great atmosphere, serious eating and weeping.

Visited the place with 2 children. The kids got their dinner during our starters, perfect! The seafood is excellent. The ambiance not of this time anymore. The service was super friendly and very good. I surely recommend this place
