La Marmotte - Saint-Veran

We went there twice! Tom and blue ravioli were great! The blueberry pie very good except the paste that is not home, very dry) brown ice We also taste the Berger menu: very good as well, but the quantity a little. Small flats for the entrance where there was a salad with “supply” and “supply” in the plural so, while there was only one ravioli and one tone in the salad... a little disappointed on this point when you expect the quantity. Super pleasant staff, very warm interior. We recommend it!

An emblematic restaurant of my holiday for more than 30 years, since taken care of by children, somewhat moved it seems to me, but the setting is always as pleasant. The terrace is superb, the building and the dishes are very good. Very good service. It is a small restaurant (a dozen tables inside), it is better to book at night. On the other hand, a small apartment on the panel that doesn't go at all with the village or with the atmosphere of the restaurant and the building... It's too bad, it would have taken a beautiful wooden panel typical of the area.

Stay at the highest point in the village of Saint Véran. Nice dish. Reasonable rates. Unbeatable view of the Hautes Alpes, Queyras.

A restaurant at the location, and the unique setting. Simple, local and excellent cuisine. Very welcoming team. An institution that could have stayed simple!
