Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Party of 2 .. 55+ couple Wait staff AWESOME he ordered roast beef. his was great. I ordered fried chicken.. It was burnt beyond edible when delivered to me.. They took it off our ticket. Offered to send it back... (We all know how that can go)... I just didn't eat.....

Cracker Barrel has been a favorite of our family for years. We used to go once a week. The last couple of years they have lost their uniqueness. Their food quality (and quantity) has declined. Servers are always friendly. We still go every month or so and say each time we aren’t going back. Love their gift store.

When I was a kid, this place was fun and funky. I get why people like it. The food is cheap and there's plenty of it. Truthfully, Popeye's has better chicken and biscuits. Our food was barely warm when delivered. I had the chicken strips with loaded mashed and coleslaw. The taters weren't even warm enough to melt the cheese. The strips were lukewarm. The coleslaw was never delivered. I asked for honey mustard, which was also never delivered. My wife had the chicken and dumplings, which was heavy on the dumplings and nearly zero chicken. Not cool. Also, we had to ask for water refills. I would understand if the place was super crowded, but we were one of maybe six tables with guests. If you're in the area, seek another restaurant.

The food was very good as usual! Our waitress Beverly was super sweet and friendly. She ensured we were well taken care of. I had ordered a baked potato with my meal. She brought one out to show me they were overcooked. She said she wasn't going to serve them and wanted me to see why. I opted for a different side. Thank you Beverly for caring a out your customers!!
