Auberge de la Garenne

I completely overlooked my review so apologies for the delay! We were invited by our French friend and had high hopes. The restaurant staff were very welcoming and the restaurant was quite busy. We had a good view over the valley an we chose the 41€ menu and it was excellent. The foie gras was excellent too. It was well presented. The three of us tried different mains including steak and fish and we ate everything. The cafe gourmand was super too . For those that do not know it involves a coffee of choice and a varied selection of mini desserts or pastries. I had the cheese and there were no complaints. I was very grateful to be treated and hope to return the favour this year!
