Trieu Chau - Saint Paul

Like many exceptional restaurants, Trieu Chau may not have an impressive exterior, but this cozy spot in St. Paul serves some of the most delicious and richly flavored Pho in the Twin Cities. The broth is infused with warm spices and a deep beefy essence. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the sliced meat is tender. In addition to the pho, there are fantastic choices for sandwiches and other noodle dishes, as well as outstanding fried egg rolls that feature a flavorful filling and a crisp, delicately flaky exterior. The service at Trieu Chau is excellent, with staff that is extremely friendly. If you enjoy noodles and Vietnamese cuisine, Trieu Chau is a must-visit.

This is a charming little spot with a no-nonsense vibe. The banh mi for $6 is an excellent deal! I really enjoyed their egg rolls and cream cheese wontons as well.

This is the best pho spot in the Twin Cities area. The star anise flavor is prominent in both the aroma and the taste, which is uncommon in many other places. The portions of meat are generous and freshly prepared. I did encounter a piece of brisket once that tasted off, but that was a rare occurrence. The service is fast and efficient. I find myself going there almost every week because I can't resist my pho cravings.

Been coming here for the last 14 years. Every experience is always the same great food and service. This family owned restaurant pretty much watched me grow and built my family. It's amazing to know these friendly people who has great food.
