Sui Yep Cafe - Saint Paul

My go-to neighborhood chinese food spot! I will often get delivery because they tend to get quite busy and I don't really like to wait for pick up as the time estimates can be delayed. My top favorites are the Walnut shrimp, cream cheese wontons, and house fried rice. Other things are great too!

Best Szechuan food in twin cities! There’s no other way around it. Way better than any other fancy restaurant. Their Szechuan chicken is hands down the best Chinese dish. Everything we had here is just awesome. Double cooked pork, west lake duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, shrimp toast, moo goo Gai pan, Mapo tofu, sesame beef, Hunan pork, Mongolian beef, spicy broth fish, and Szechuan duck are our go to dishes. You can’t really go wrong with the chef’s suggestions section of their menu. You can probably guess we go there a lot. At least once a week. This is the best kept secret of twin cities.

Excellent food and reasonable prices! Tonight was our first time trying Sui Yep, so we got a bunch of different menu items. It was all great, and the amounts of (perfectly cooked shrimp in the shrimp and pea pods and of (wonderfully tender! duck in the seven treasure shredded duck were very generous. Their setup for picking up takeout is very safe, which I appreciate a great deal. This is a definite do-again for Friday-night takeout!

Went here with my dad for takeout recently, he remembered the egg fu young from the 80s and had a craving for it. I googled it and we went there and were not disappointed. The egg rolls I remember when I was a kid and they're still the same and delicious. Now that I know where it is, we'll definitely be going back
