Kim's Kitchen - Saint Paul

I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the chicken egg foo young, and it was absolutely delicious. The gravy/sauce was just right, and there were three nicely-sized patties that were full of flavor and incredibly fresh. I've tried many egg foo young dishes over the years, but this one took me back to my childhood. I think the name was Suey-Yup (I’m sure I spelled it wrong), but we used to go there in the '80s, and it was so good—I was reminded of that experience. I also had the vegetable fried rice, which was tasty, but if you're not a fan of broccoli, you might want to skip it. I’ll definitely be coming back; everything was so fresh and delicious!

Incredibly delicious, authentic, and affordable Chinese food! Be sure to try Combination Plate #7, which includes two Egg Foo Young patties and pork fried rice—my mom’s favorite meal. The owner's wife prepares the pork fried rice with a secret sauce that my mom swore made it absolutely amazing!

Fast service, incredible food at an affordable price, and generous portions to top it off. For just $30, you can enjoy several meals packed with delicious flavors, fresh vegetables, and flavorful rice.

Great food, reasonably priced, wonderful owners!! Love the place! Been there many times!
