Happy Gnome - Saint Paul

I'm a recovering Mormon, so I didn't start drinking beer til my thirties. Everything I know about beer now I learned spending countless hours sampling all the dozens of amazing and varied offerings they have on tap at this remarkable location. To top it all off, the food is amazing too, in fact it inspired me to explore the world of home charcuterie and other culinary arts. Although I have since moved from the twin cities, I make it a point to spend time here whenever I am visiting, and I have introduced multiple new friends to the Happy Gnome. Not to be too schmaltzy but this place truly holds a special place in my heart.

Fun spot! They have an amazing beer selection, $5 beer, wine some drinks for happy hour The short rib egg roll appetizer was outstanding!!

Stopped in here while waiting for my table to be ready at a nearby restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the service of the bartender, Ryan. In fact, the service was so good that after I went and had dinner at the restaurant I was waiting for, I came back to the happy gnome for another beer. The selection of beer is huge! I believe they have about 90 on tap. I can't wait to come back and try the food! The menu looked incredible! Thanks Ryan for making my experience a memorable one.

I really had a great time at the Happy Gnome. The waiter was very happy to explain the different types of beer to us. The food was excellent. The atmosphere and customers were very friendly. I've never gone to a brewery before, I thought it was for the younger generation. But, I felt very comfortable around people of all ages, and, families with children.

Great food everytime! The braised pork is to die for . Great atmosphere and huge variety of beers as well. Love this place!
