Darbar India Grill - Saint Paul

I love this place! The food is delicious, the portions are large, and the decor is very nice (the booth setup felt like fine dining. The atmosphere was pleasant when I was there, and the service was wonderful and attentive. I can't wait to go there again!

OMG if you are ever in this area and want a really great Indian buffet, this is one of the best to go in the area. I guess this is really geared to Indian food lovers, but if you try to find out how Indian food tastes, please give this place a visit. You have about 8 Entrees at least minimum together with all the other things that come with an Indian buffet. This is a great way to taste food if you have never tried your kitchen before and find out if you really want it. Please give them a visit. The staff is really friendly and I think you'll be glad you stopped.

I knew upon entering Darbar that I would enjoy my dinner. The atmosphere is clean, fragrant, and friendly. The server was knowledgeable and attentive but not over bearing. The food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back again and again. We're so glad to have found a quality Indian place south of the river!

The food here is FANTASTIC. They have a nice selection of dishes from around India, the quality is truly something worth writing about. I will say that the service was a bit on the slow side, though this is a brand new establishment and there are bound to be some kinks to work out. The staff is warm and friendly, and there is something on the menu for everyone.

My two experiences here have both been excellent. Dinner on both occasions was well above average in quality. Service is prompt when you walk in the door, and attentive while not being overbearing during the meal. Our food both times was excellent. My only concern is that people in the Apple Valley area are getting lesser quality Indian food instead of coming here.
