A predictable relief. Depending on the season you will find on the east side of the Glacier National Park, the Snowgoose Grille can be your best and only option for something boring but decent food. Before walking to the sun street opens through the mountain passages and connects the western entrance to the park with the eastern entrance, there are not many restaurants on the east side. <br/ <br/ Snowgoose is probably the most beautiful lodge on the east side of the glacier and outside the park, right in a lodge. The barbecue is located in St. Mary, MT at the beginning of the drive to the Sonnenstraße, offers large windows to see the nearby mountains of. <br/ <br/ The menu is what you expect for a lodge positioning itself as a leader in the area. There are a variety of different types of food. I tried the Blomfield Buffalo Burger. It tasted good, but it was nothing to write at home. From the children's menu, the chicken strips seem to be the best choice. They are flattened strips of chickens properly baked, and there were three of these strips together with French fries more than my 8-year-old son could finish eating. The chicken noodle soup seemed without chicken, and more the style and consistency of something from a can instead of one in house creation. <br/ <br/ Not the best food you eat, but it is good enough to potentially be the best gastronomic option on the east side of Glacier, especially if nothing else is opened.
Great experience, staff are seasonal from different states, service is beautiful, food is great! Loves the garlic wings and bison stew.
After visiting Glacier National Park, we decided to drive around and passed through St. Mary's, MT. Luck was with us, sat down an ordered the sausage, cheese and fruit plate for two. This plate was enough for two people and the sausage was excellent and was the pairing of the crackers. Highly recommend this plate.
