We went on a day trip to st. malo and found this beautiful restaurant under the city walls. eating was excellent, perfect postion for a hot day. They can sit outside under a sunshade and watch people. if they have time, they try the course...Menu, very good value for among us will definitely go back.
What can I say about this restaurant: eating is good, the service was decent, as the place was packed on a sunny Friday, but they were clearly short employees. the location is amazing, but when they eat outside, they must accept the tourist. to go past to the fortification (fine of me, but not every cup of tea). all in all, this place could be a star restaurant or a star restaurant if they had a little more personal.
Although the location is rather charming and the service was welcoming and efficient, the food was really disappointing. We would/will not go again.
When we strolled around St. Malo, all seafood display was very attempting. After walking down from the wall, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Very small place. Usually we would like to sit inside to avoid smoking. But the restaurant is little bit...cramp to sit inside. Finally we tug into the corner of outside sitting and hoped for the best without smoking. We ordered a shellfish platter for one person and a pot of mussels in cream sauce. The portion of the dishes was very big. Just the shellfish platter was good for two people, oysters, shrimps, crayfish, different types of snail, and crab. The pot of mussels had hundred in it. We were overwhelmed and took a long time to finish. If we went back, we would order the shellfish platter for one person only that would be good enough for two of us. Anyway, the seafood was fresh the price was reasonable. It is a pleasant place to have lunch.
