Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Saint Louis

I had my first experience at this restaurant, and I was impressed by how quickly I was able to place my order and receive my food. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious and only cost $5. I also noticed that the in-store prices were actually lower than what they listed online.

I’ve always had a great experience at this restaurant. The last time I visited the drive-thru, the line was long but moved quickly. The staff member at the window was friendly and accommodating when I requested sauces. Everything was packed with flavor. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star rating is that the chicken was a bit dry.

We waited an hour for our chicken order. They had spicy chicken available, but they ran out of mild. The staff seemed uninterested and worked at a sluggish pace. One colleague's service was particularly poor. On a positive note, the red beans and rice were very good. However, the atmosphere was lacking, and the overall service was VERY SLOW.

We're currently sitting in this Popeyes drive-thru for the second time. We tried to pick up our mobile order 20 minutes ago. Initially, they didn't have any mild chicken ready. Then, when they finally found our order, we were missing a quantity of fries and a cookie. After another 10 minutes, the fries finally appeared (see attached photo of the small size). Charging $2.89 for that is just absurd. Overall, I will not be returning to any other Popeyes. I'm convinced that their operations are quicker than the service we experienced here.

Unfortunately, the spicy chicken sandwich was a further cry from the usual farewell of Popeyes. That was my first visit at this point and it wasn't good. merged with the spicy sauce, I think to dress the fact that the chicken was a miniature puck of dried white fiber. It won't be back.
