We hosted a family gathering for around 30 people, and the food definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect, and the service was fantastic! The staff continually checked on us and refilled the food without us needing to ask. We also brought our own decorations, and they were more than accommodating in allowing us to set them up.
I had a truly delicious meal and a wonderful experience at this family-run restaurant.
I discovered this restaurant at last year's "Festival of Nations," and I was immediately impressed. When I searched for them later, I found out they were nearby! A few months ago, I finally had the chance to try takeout. I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to take a photo! Recently, I visited again and remembered to snap a picture. Their sambusa is exceptional, and the accompanying dried spices are just as tasty, with a nice kick to them. You definitely have to try them! I ordered the chicken tibbs and lamb (kelwa begged), and both were authentic and delicious with generous portions. Merhaba has now secured a spot on my list of favorite places in U-City. If you haven't been yet, take the plunge and check it out; you won't regret it!
A very nice place for Ethiopian food. The owner is very friendly and the food is very good. A place to go if you want to experience Ethiopian food in St. Louis.
Great food and beer! We came on a Wednesday- Jamaican night- and it was awesome! The jerk chicken was killer and the beer was awesome too. Awesome service. We will be back! Thank you!
