Mas Tequila Cantina - Saint Louis

We were in St. Louis for family vacation. We were down in the area to go to the Wax Museum, and to go to the Gateway Arch. We walked past this place on the way to the Wax Museum, it smelled yummy, so we decided to come back down for lunch after the museum. The food was absolutely amazing! The taco was one of the best tacos I've eaten in awhile, the tostada, OMG, It was SO good! My whole plate was a lot of food, and I almost couldn't eat it all. There were 5 of us, and for the 5 of us our total price was not bad at all. With tip included, our total bill averaged to about $13/ea. The prices are reasonable, and the food is amazing! The waitress was awesome, the whole staff was! I highly recommend this place, especially if you are wanting authentic Mexican food. I will definitely eat here again the next time we go to St Louis.

We arrived at this place after the baseball game on Saturday evening, 16 June 2018, about 10 minutes before the kitchen was about to close. We were hungry and were looking to get some tacos or some wings, but when they told us that the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes, we didn't want to inconvenience the staff; so we went outside to one of their sidewalk tables and asked the waitress, April, could we order drinks from out there. She told us yes. As she was responding to us, one of her coworkers (we assumed a manager) whispered something to her that we later found out that he was telling her to let us order some food with our drinks. So, they essentially kept the kitchen open past its normal closing time to take care of us. And we were not disappointed either; not only was April's service outstanding, but the wings and the drinks/beers were on point and delicious. Thank you April and Mas Tequila Cantina for your outstanding service.

I cannot describe what a pleasant surprise Mas Tequila Cantina is. Authentic, friendly... like you are walking into another place and time. Fantastic. The food is incredible. I don't normally order Carne Asada but the owner recommended it and OMG... unbelievable! You wont find piles of iceberg lettuce and gobs of sour cream on these dishes! And the cocktail menu? Oh hell yeah. 26 different tequila shots to boot! This place s brilliant. What a refreshing change Mexican done RIGHT!

Friendly personable owner and wait staff. They made us feel very welcome!! Several of us ordered the lunch specials (taco's, chimichanga, quesadilla, enchilada etc , more than enough food for the price. And the food was great. We will definitely be ordering again!! Welcome to The Landing :
