Kabul Express - Saint Louis

My husband and I took a stay-cation and came to this restaurant after a good friend raved about Kabul Express STL! I was not disappointed at all! Kauash, the owner, makes all the dishes and his customer service was outstanding! He is such a nice man! Great presentation, great concept , and great execution! We ordered 3 dishes to share. We got the Falafel wrap, the butter chicken over rice and the Chicken Schwarma over rice. Desert was a pistachio, rose water ice cream in a sugar cone bowl! The flavors were amazing and dishes, delicious (say that 10 times fast! The only thing I don’t like? I don’t live close enough to eat here everyday!!! I would love to see Kauash do a food truck, expand to a west county location, or somehow share with more people. This restaurant is a secret that should not be kept! The food was delicious and well portioned. The Tikka masala had a slight spice but very manageable. The mango chicken was not spicy but instead had a hint of sweetness that paired well with the chicken.The service was great as well. We will be back to try more the options. A friend and I ate here for the first time. We ordered the appetizer plate, tzatziki fries, lamb gyro, beef gyro salad, and chicken tikka masala. Everything was made fresh to order, tasted absolutely fantastic, and the service was spectacular! Definitely 5 out of 5! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
