Restaurant Amir - Saint-Laurent

I was extremely disappointed when I visited this restaurant at 2:30 for a quick meal. There were no other customers in the restaurant at the time. I ordered a pita shish taouk, but was shocked to receive a small portion that was the size of my index finger, priced at $8 along with a bottle of water. The meat in the pita was dry and old, making it unappetizing. The pita itself was thin, dry, and filled with sour beets. I didn't bother complaining as the staff were not very friendly, and I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I regret my decision to eat here and will not be returning in the future. Lesson learned.

I love the grilled chicken at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. It's the perfect spot for a quick and healthy meal on the go.

Poor. We had an awful experience yesterday night. We were two couples trying to get something to eat but the older guy who was serving us was acting like a total wacko. One could see he was disgusted may be at the idea of helping individuals like us.He really went over the line by throwing a sandwich against the wall because one of the customer did not like the way it was made. The guy had tried to give that same sandwich to someone else who also said no.There was a lady who tried her best to handle the situation very professionally, but the damage was already done. This was the worst experience by far at any restaurant in Montreal

We recently ordered a take out dinner from Amir in Griffentown based on a friend's recommendation.We were really looking forward to it but when the order was delivered it was not at all what we expected. The variety of dishes per each of the three trays were all mixed together so each dish ended up being a jumbled up mess.I would never order from them again.

This was the first place that we ate during our week long trip to Montreal. We selected it blindly and should have done some research first. We each ordered a fish dish and it was average at best. Server acted as he was new and unsure with the menu.
