Cote Sud - Saint-Laurent-du-Var

We have been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is really good and the restaurant had a kind and helpful waitress.

Been here twice this week, drawn back by the best avocado and crevettes we've ever had. Sublime. We speak a teeny bit of French. Staff are perfectly nice, but reserved. Lovely unhurried atmosphere. Portions are large.

Three or four tables seated, 8pm on a Sunday evening, asked for a table, menu looked ok, decided on a different table before sitting down to be away from smokers, sat and waited for 5 minutes as the waitress chatted to another table but not doing waitress tasks, when we finally got her attention for a drink and to see the menu, she made a face and threw a V sign!Got up and walked out, unbelievable!!

I live in Nice and eat at Cote Sud regularly. The owners are lovely and the service is good. The prices are mid-range, but you get good food and plenty of it. The plates are not small.Go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when it's sunny, especially in the winter. They have a perfectly placed terrace with tons of sun. And umbrellas if too hot or too sunny. You're practically on the beach and there are no cars.

Wonderful salads and seafood served in this restaurant - our favourite to have lunch in the sun before heading to the airport.
