Restaurant Papa Jackie - Saint-Lambert

Once regarded as one of finest Chinese restaurants in Greater Montreal, now under restrictions only serving takeout and delivery. Quality of food is on the downside and inconsistent.

I ordered the crab with seasonal vegetables! What i had was not what i thought it was described! It says seasonal vegetables and what i had was spinach drowned with what looks like crab in a can and water! It was poorly packaged and the...presentation is absolutely ridiculous

Since the place has been renovated, it is always packed no matter wha time you come. The food is quite good. The seafood is fresh. We always order the lobster and crabs and are never disappointed. Parking is horrible though. The ;ot is tiny and...they have to share with the other stores in the mall.

Our Thursday supper group decided to go to Papa Jackie on a good recommendation . We had eaten there about months ago and weren't to impressed. We were told that they had a new menue and had been renovated . Our group of acomidated at two tables as they had no area for a group. The food was OK but pretty bland. The price was high and the food so so . We won't be back/

I went to Papa Jackie’s last week for a birthday dinner. I called the day before and was told that no reservation was needed. When we arrived I waited at the door to be seated . That’s when I noticed that all of the waiters...were wearing winter coats. Everyone in the restaurant were wearing their coats. The establishment had a problem with their heating system. We stayed anyways because this restaurant was highly recommended. The food was average, I was expecting a lot more flavor. No rebates were offered for eating in the frigid cold with our coats on. I was very disappointed .
