Arome Cafe Bistro - SAINT-JOVITE

I had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant on Thursday night for dinner.

Four of us wandered by chance into this busy restaurant in Mont Tremblant on a Sunday afternoon in August 2017. We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately.Two of us shared the Salade Champion, the Le Cochon sandwich, a scone and two cappuccinos. Everything was very tasty and also reasonably priced. What made the lunch memorable however was the exceptional service provided by Maude. Bravo!

It's hard to know how to rate restaurants. Should a diner get fewer stars than a fine dining establishment? Or should a diner get five stars if the diner does diner food exceptionally well? I choose the latter. Arome Cafe is a diner with a large patio for the warmer times of year. They prepare breakfasts and lunches with wonderful ingredients, and their all-day breakfast menu is a sight to behold, with a diverse array of eggs benedict and several choices of breakfast grilled cheese sandwiches. The potatoes served with the breakfast dishes are addicting. And I have never had ham the likes of the ham that comes on the goat cheese tartlette. Fork tender porky goodness. Go to Arome Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Sit outside if it's warm. You won't regret it!

We were greeted by a cheerful waitress in a good mood, which was a great way to start the day. The meals were generous and delicious, not too heavy (well done), and reasonably priced. The bread and coffee were both excellent, making for a great breakfast experience.

The restaurant offers delicious and unique dishes as their daily specials. The service is excellent and they have a pleasant outdoor terrace. They are closed on Tuesdays but open for both lunch and dinner.
