Tropical Smoothie Cafe - SAINT JOHNS

I have to say, I'm quite disappointed with my experience at Tropical Smoothie. I absolutely love their smoothies, but I waited in the drive-thru line for a staggering 45 minutes! To make matters worse, once you're in the line, there's no way to exit. This isn't the first time I've encountered such a long wait, which is why I'm giving them a low rating. Additionally, my smoothie was far too watery, almost like it had melted and lost its creamy texture. I ordered the Queen smoothie, but it was mainly filled with tortilla. Overall, I'm really not happy with my visit.

I wanted to take some photos to share, but I felt that might be overdoing it. I do recognize that the staff works hard and puts in a lot of effort. I think the general manager should be more present on Sundays, working alongside the team to improve operations. Additionally, my muscle bubble took 15 minutes to arrive, and I had nothing to drink with my buffalo pack. I was offered a drink that belonged to someone named Jan, who was also inconvenienced because two other people had already touched it. This was not a great dining experience overall.

I would give this place a negative rating if I could. I wanted to give it another chance, but how do you mess up a smoothie? It's just fruit and ice in a blender! I've been here several times, and each time my smoothie had so much ice that it was undrinkable. There’s a much better Tropical Smoothie at the other end of the racetrack.

This place needs better management. they get their food 10 minutes before their smoothie. the personal saw confused, very bad time management. when she was asked for the smoothie, the girl said, I have fed a lot, they will soon get it and gave to the people who ordered their smoothies after us!

Second time we have been here…first time they had no ice. Today we waited 25 minutes for food, saw customers who came in after us get their food. Finally asked about order, they asked oh what did you order? Finally made delivered order to table (one sandwich and two quesadillas). Did not have salsa with quesadillas…went to counter again to ask for it, I was told by person who looked to be manager oh we don’t have any of that. That would be fine but if you can’t make full order say that when ordering. One quesadilla had hardly any chicken. For $40 for three people would expect more. Would have expected apology. Girl that brought food threw a bag on table and walked away. Manager did nothing. They had plenty of staff, I saw at least seven employees, one who was on phone most of time. We will not be back to the location again. We go to the Murabella location often and they are pleasant and quick. We were here Sunday, August 14 and order was placed at 2:48.
