Contribuiți la feedbackI was looking forward to enjoying some amazing wood-fired pizza. Since it was late, we decided to use DoorDash for delivery. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived cold, which was disappointing. There was also way too much flour on the bottom, and I didn't enjoy it at all. Overall, it was a big letdown.
The service was prompt, but the pizza was greasy and not fully cooked on top.
I tried the featured pizza, the Oliva, and it was amazing! The patio was wonderful, located right next to a beer place, and they even provided pizza cutters for our convenience, making the experience even better. Plus, the prices were reasonable!
When done right a Margherita pizza can be a delightful combination of a bubbly crust charred in spots, an intensely flavoured San Marzano tomato sauce highlighted with hits of salt, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and basil. Instead, at Pomodori, you will receive an underwhelming pizza consisting of a benign crust, no-flavour tomato sauce and bits of mozzarella and basil assembled by gaggle of students who looked as uncomfortable in a pizza kitchen as a first-timer on a roller coaster ride. No table service, sad wine selection and staffed, as mentioned earlier, by students who appeared to have little to no experience in the hospitality industry; all of which made for a mundane dining experience. And the whole experience was particularly irksome when the expense is factored in. Shame on the management! You may have a wood burning pizza oven but it takes a lot more than an imported pizza oven to produce the queen of pizza.
Good place to get thin crust pizza. You order and pay at the counter, and then they bring your choice out to your table. Both indoor and outdoor seating (on the street).
