Haskel's - Saint Joe

The staff at this restaurant are really lovely. While the selection is limited, it covers the essentials. It's the only place near the river for quite a distance.

I wasn't dreaming—I genuinely enjoyed a wonderful meal here that included cornbread, potatoes with gravy, and beef. It was fantastic! Check out Haskel's Place on Facebook.

This charming little BBQ spot offers great BBQ plates and sandwiches. The hickory-smoked beef jerky is some of the best I've ever tasted. For vegetarians, they have a black bean burger on the menu. In terms of parking, it wasn’t crowded when I visited, so finding a spot was easy for this small restaurant. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, with a nice ramp from the parking area, although there is a small section of gravel to navigate, which isn’t too troublesome. I opted for takeout service.

So friendly! It brings me great joy and warms my heart to walk in and sometimes see Haskel there and most times see his daughter. Small town family business... THE BEST
