Couche-tard - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I especially loved the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, particularly the tasty Diet Barq. The staff and the owner were friendly, kind, and welcoming. I found this place convenient, with excellent food and very reasonable prices.

I crossed the street to find a gas station that offered service, cheaper cigarettes, and free air for my tires. It felt good to save a couple of bucks. However, when I requested a 6/49 lottery ticket with an extra, I was overwhelmed with questions about additional options. I just wanted what I asked for—plain and simple. I'm here to make a purchase, not to be interrogated. If you’re not happy with what I want to buy, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Fabric masks are now prohibited! Interestingly, they are selling 3-ply masks, which are permitted in the restaurant. It seems like they're trying to profit from the pandemic, and this feels like an unwarranted overreach. I am choosing to boycott this establishment and encouraging all my friends to do the same.

Like any typical late-night convenience store, you can find cigarettes, beer, milk, and other necessities here. However, there's much more to explore. They sell lottery tickets, fuel, snacks, and a diverse selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The menu also features fresh food options like hot dogs, sandwiches, pastries, and excellent coffee. Additionally, you can get a free coffee with the purchase of five. The store is clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what you need.

I was really disappointed with my experience! The prices are incredibly high (they charge $2.50 for a bottle of water), and they don’t always have certain items in stock. Additionally, during my recent visits, the restrooms were out of service. I won’t be returning!
