La Boulangerie Sibuet

We were looking for a bakery/coffee place for a late breakfast on the road. Found this lovely place on google and got of Highway 20 and wound along the scenic back road along the St Lawrence for a few minutes and got great coffee and pastries from a super friendly server who tolerated our attempts at French before letting us know, kindly, that she spoke English. Well worth the short detour off the expressway. We got take away but wish we could have stayed to eat in the covered patio. Next time! Merci au personnel merveilleux et très sympathique. À la prochaine fois que nous sommes sur la route près de chez vous!

The day! Delicious coffee drinks and a wide variety of breakfast options. Eggs were cooked exactly as requested; fruit was fresh and delicious. Easy walking distance to local hotels/motels. Friendly and helpful staff. Wished had time to linger rather than getting on bike and on the Route Verte.

Fantastic smoked salmon panini. Great friendly service. Food was simple but tasty. Service was over-the-too. A must stop if you are nearby.

So good to come across such a lovely simple cafe serving a selection of such good foot (hot, cakes, breads) to eat inside or to takeaway

We decided to take Route 132 instead of Highway 20 for lunch and explored the town near the junction with 132. We were drawn to Sibouet and decided to have lunch there. They allowed us to bring our Wheaton Terrier to sit with us on the street-side deck. We enjoyed a delicious bowl of broccoli soup with sandwiches, all served on fresh bread with fresh ingredients. Our server was a delightful woman who was fluent in both French and English. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely return. Our friends who arrived an hour later also had a great time at the restaurant.
