Excellent value for money and a lively atmosphere in this place encouraged us to share a delicious fondu sawoyard. beautiful workers who work so hard and help create a living ambiente complement the experience. diverse grills when meat and fish are served in weighty... proportions!
We were recommended this restaurant by our accommodation host and overall had a hood time. We arrived during a manic lunch service on the day if the tour de france. The first contact with the owner, Sarah, was typically French (we might serve you within...2 hrs if you're lucky) but after patience and breaking the ice moments were treated like members of tge family. The food was deliciously cooked and fairly priced and plenty on the plate. Sarah creates a fun ambiance and has a rich and close interaction with her guests. But if she doesn't have time or guests are above themselves then don't expect a warm welcome. Kid's menu was lacking from the menu. A very good place to eat but be open minded and relaxed if you want a good experience.
We had dinner there. Very nice piece of steak, the fries were frozen, nice green salad. Desserts were delicious, the Ile flottante, and the caramelized pear tart. Yummy. The waitress recommended and especially opened a bottle (i only wanted a glass) of superb local wine....She also had a nice chat with us and shared some local knowledge to my boyfriend who is here to climb the local passes on his bike.
What a surprise, a very sincere place, friendly staff, genuine food. Seven people sitting at the table and all left happy. Excellent ratio quality/price. I suggest the Canard and the creme brûlée. But all the plates on the menu are good as they sound. Very...good for family and a quick break.
