L'Océan - Saint-Jean-de-Luz

Very nice restaurant by the sea, very beautiful terace with tables spaced. The menu is quite limited, but offers good dishes. The wine map is well provided and includes beautiful references from all over the world. The quality of the products is excellent, fresh, local, but there is a little seasoning and the temperature of uneven dishes. The chipirons were cold, and little, the hot trout. The plum a little too cooked. The dessert, maxi flash, raspberry pistachio is a real murder. Good service without being exceptional, a little hard.

Good place to drink a drink, dishes offered, for dinner, lunch. terrace protected from the promenade of the bay of st jean de luz just what it takes to nevertheless enjoy all the beautiful view.

We went there for our wedding anniversary, 10 years. Aperitif taken at the bar, impeccable, 2 menus discovered, we appreciated. Just a bit of anecdote (which removed the fifth star), j =e doesn't know if it's an error or made on purpose but we were taken a second resistance dish by telling us that it was the gift for our birthday, weird as a gift, very good but weird. I would have thought of a cup of champagne as for my 50th anniversary at Maria Christina (Donostia). If I could've put 4.5 stars

The restaurant Bistrot Badia the Ocean is a very pleasant place that we have just known fat at the Restaurants Days. The menu for the occasion nothing to say, perfect as the service. Thanks to all the staff. Beautiful table facing the bay of St Jean.
