Woody's Waterside - Saint James City

It's challenging to fully appreciate this restaurant, particularly if you usually seek a comprehensive dining experience. Woody's has been a favorite for a long time, but the challenges brought on by COVID-19 have greatly affected them.

This restaurant is located by the water, providing a beautiful view; however, there were quite a few smokers nearby. We only ordered an appetizer, so we didn't get to try much of the menu.

I had a fantastic experience! The food was excellent, with the Crab Rangoon and Mahi Tacos standing out as my favorites. The service was friendly and prompt, with Tyler being particularly exceptional. The view was an added bonus, overlooking the boats passing through the canal.

I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner if you find yourself in the Pine Island area! I've been here several times and always bring my friends and family for a delicious meal by the scenic backwater canal. The food is fantastic, with must-tries like the warm crabs (perfect for sharing), grouper bites, and calamari to start. The menu offers a broad selection of creative dishes inspired by both land and sea. The staff is excellent, and the management, Gabrielle Gil, makes a point to ensure that your visit is nothing short of perfect!
