However, the next time you 're coming from UBC, walk in and enjoy some pies and tea. #hiddengem<br/ <br/ Food/Drink: They have many sweet pies, both of the chocolate and fruit variety. They 're not amazing, but they do pair up really well with the tea. There is a mountain of tea tins to smell and choose from, with the descriptions written on the outside. You 're bound to find something. They usually have a nice tea pie combo that 's less than 7 bucks. <br/ <br/ Ambience: The lighting is quite dim, which creates a cozy atmosphere meant more for quiet reading or chatting with a friend or two. There 's also a ton of choosing from an assortment of mismatched cups. Not a study cafe. <br/ <br/ Service: By far the warmest and kindest servers I 've met. They take time to answer your questions patiently and with a smile. It 'll restore your faith in humanity and make your day better!
The Nana Mint tea was perfect. Letting me pick a tea cup was a nice touch. I will definitely be going back to check out some of the other teas.
Excellent tea. I had a delicious cup of tea (Macha from Japan) today with my colleagues at work. The tea house also has a nice assortment of pastries. Service was good and we enjoyed chatting with the owner. All in all I highly recommend this place for a cup of lovely tea. Remember that they also have coffee in the menu.
I really liked the tea@Pekoe. The place has a large slection of tea, also has a friendly service and atmosphere.
Nice cozy place just for TEA. I've been here a few times and tried a few of their teas. The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable. Nice place to sit down and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Their teacups and saucers are very exquisite. I enjoy looking at their huge selection of teas some are pretty unique. My favourites are the Dragon Well tea and TieGuanYin (Iron Buddha).
