Gyudonya - Vancouver

Friendly little place. Very small. Good portions. Unagi was great. Kamch Pork was spicy food. Enjoy dining next to people you may not know but fun.

This restaurant reminds me of Asian foodie. Especially Bimbab. It's delicious! I will surely come again.

Quaint Beef Bowl shop right on Robson street. We were hungry and decided to give it a go. Menu is simple. Selection of meat to go in the don. There are other side dishes as well. As most of the dishes are of the don variety, its easy to order and the food comes quickly. I ordered the Kalbi Gyu Don combo that came with Tempura and Miso soup. Satisfying meal in a food outlet that is facing Robson street that allows for some people watching.

After more elegant meals, we chose GyuDonYa for a quick light supper and were not disappointed. The rice bowls are tasty, flavorful and have good amounts of meat and vegetables. Service is quick and efficient. The place could be cleaner so I would not order sushi here.

My wife and I had a meal recently, we were pleasantly surprised on how good it was. Staff were friendly and helpful and steered us in the right direction in what to order. We had a combination of different foods from one of the selections they advertised. Enjoyed every mouthful. Was not all that expensive and if we are ever back in Vancouver would definitely go back again. We got a lot of help from the girl who served us on what we should order. Very good.
