Restaurant Vatel - Saint-Hyacinthe

I went there 2 years ago for lunch. When you go to this place, you have to be aware that it will take a long time, as the staff are still learning. I was expecting much better in terms of the food. It had no flavor, my fish was bland and the sauce tasted like water. The appetizer was ordinary and my crème brûlée was liquid. It was my one and only visit, and it will be my last.

I went to this restaurant for the first time in September 2012. The food was decent, but the appetizers were a miss. The service was a disaster, but they were students so we were understanding of the poor girl who seemed very nervous. The second time, in late October 2012, the food was truly inedible - too salty, burned vegetables, and a horrible dessert. I had high expectations for this restaurant, but it was nothing like the ITHQ. Unfortunately, we had a reservation for a 10-person gourmet dinner canceled due to a lack of follow-up or common sense because serving such poorly executed dishes is a minimum requirement in the kitchen!
