Pizzeria Tra Vigne - SAINT HELENA

Unfortunately very bad experience! My husband and I went to Health Spa Napa Valley and we ordered food from this restaurant. I grabbed the mushroom bolognese and my husband the normal bolognese. My dish was literally disgusting. I'm a good eater and I'm also Italian too, so I was literally shocked about the pasta. First, the sauce quantity was more than the pasta quantity; second the mushroom sauce was more an onion sauce; third the spaghetti were not spaghetti and also overcooked. Sorry but you have ti change this plate. My husband ate his pasta but he was upset too. Fortunately, thanks to the spa, I was able to order a new plate (the beyond burger) and fortunately that was a better choice.

Pretty good! Had basic pepperoni, margharita and truffle fries. Cute outdoor area. Would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I went here because we heard it was good on yelp. The food was alright, but my complaint isn't with the food. It was with our server. His name was Stephan, as per the receipt we got. He barley served us while we were there. Another server came and brought us extra waters and actually served us while Stephan just took our order, brought it, and brought the check. That was it. We usually tip based on the service itself, so we felt like there wasn't a tip that was needed since we didn't get the service we came there to get. He stopped us at the door right as we were about to leave and asked about his service. We were already outside of the building when he stopped us. My boyfriend and I didn't want to be rude, so we said it was fine. He repeated himself twice saying that we gave him a $0 tip, even after we said that was correct. This put a sour taste in my mouth as tipping is based on service. The service was not good. It's not like we didn't pay for the food because we did.

Go for the Mozzarella. Then stay for pasta or pizza. Get yourself stuffed and then head outside for a game of Boccie Ball. Or just walk around St. Helena. It's worth the visit and your money. You won't find fresher Mozzarella anywhere. Promise Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I don't know whether it was the beautiful weather or we were just too hungry after the winery tour, but our lunch here was amongst the best I have had. Pasta with shrimp and basil pesto was fresh and had perfect texture and the pizzas were full of flavor and freshness too. Along with the wine and the calm outdoor setting, this is a perfect place for a casual lunch with friends or family.
