LA VIEILLE FORGE

The new owners of this old forge make an excellent job. the decor is land with the huge working kamin that was illuminated and welcoming when we visited november. on the walls there are interesting old ilmplements, including the huge balg that. the forging fin. the menu is interesting and changes with the seasons. everything is well thought out and very well presented. two of us had the smoked salmon-starter divine. my partner had the mushroom soup that he said he was the best he ever tasted. my chicken main course beautiful and delicate, although I found it almost too ugly and tasted as if it had been boiled in a strong chicken stock. I wouldn't choose it again, but that's just my taste. two of our party had the beef they had said was great and the fourth had the longed thunfish. we all enjoyed our desserts and coffee. we would definitely return.

Excellent food and service. good value for money. beautiful decoration. but the music is terrible! that's a big scandal. actually, the music is a radio station and did not go well while we tried to enjoy our meal.

Everything is well thought out and extremely well presented. Two of us had the smoked salmon starter was divine. My partner had the mushroom soup which he said was the best he had ever tasted. My chicken main course nice and tender although I found it almost too chickeny and tasted as if it had been cooked in a strong chicken stock. I would not choose that again but that is just my taste. Two of our party had the beef which they said was great and the fourth had the seered tuna which she liked. We all enjoyed our desserts and coffee. We would definitely return.
