Very pleasant place near a nice village. The local cuisine allows us to find childhood flavors. Don't hesitate to stop to taste Jean Claude's specialties you won't regret it.
The grumpy of the net that comes off against a true authentic character: you will bring it back when you can make the eggs to milk as divinely as Mr. Lambert.
We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch for a change to our usual restaurant which is closed for refurbishment. The restaurant, which I would guess can seat about 70 diners, was fully booked. We were probably the only non locals in the restaurant. We booked for 12.30 pm and eventually got up from the table at 15.30pm. We opted for the 28.50 euro menu which comprised soup, entree, main course, cheese, and desert. The food was well presented and nicely served. We had wine (carafe) and coffees. The bill for four of us came to 130 euros. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back for a return visit. The food was good French country cooking and, if the option had been available, I would have rated the restaurant as “Good” rather than “Average”.
We were looking forward to eating here having driven quite a distance to get to this restaurant but arrived before 1.30. Plenty of tables available and we were refused to be served as we were too late for lunch! So the French eat at 12.00pm and anything after that is not seen as acceptable. We are also very rudely spoken too and the attitude of the staff was appalling. Don't bother going!
