Contribuiți la feedbackThey really get what they can expect from this type of restaurants (ferme auberge): good quality, locally produced food. not original dishes, but simple classic dishes. we had a lively and a kist duck, accompanied by “pommes Sarladaises”. not a large wine list...from mostly local weeps (good, but not exceptional) the staff was right and friendly.
These were recommended by one of the rod-side weeping and foie gras markets. we followed the recommendation to make reservation, that is not because of the crowded restaurants, but to let owners prepare possible teller. During dinner we were there 4-5 families at once....choose to take the menu which was ok until dessert. portions are good, farm not restaurant presentations. total failures were traditional French dessert crème brûlée, it looked like few days old, badly prepared, thick sugar layer and only half melted. when we came back the waitress, she suddenly forgot that her English and communication went on to a wise French. definitiw the black brand for our a week stay in perigord area. will not recommend my friends.
