Beautiful grounds, very friendly staff . We'were there in evening live music which was great, sat outdoors on patio. Each had different pizza so we each got to sample several, all were delicious. Were in that area on vacation. Will be back again when we pass through

My first visit was unimpressive and I thought I should give the place a second chance. We arrived around noon, and by my standards this place was not slammed or even close to it. My second visit was equally unimpressive for the following reasons: 1. The menu on line is nothing like the menu in person. The choices were very limited. 2. The printed paper menu is hard to read, appears as if the printer ran out of ink. 3. Ordered two salads with chicken and was given order number 21. An hour later order number 29 was delivered to the people sitting next to us and they had pizza. 4. Inquired about our order with staff and was met with the question, did you pay in cash ? When the answer was yes, we were told that is why it took our order so long. 5. During our hour wait we watched patrons who ordered prior to us, receive their food in 3 waves, such that almost no one in the party of 5 ish did not eat together. The only method to order food is to stand in line and place your order individually. 6. Absolutely nothing special about this salad. Overall experience was negative.

My family and I went to Istrouma on Saturday 8/19/23 and it was a great experience until I saw the chicken/rabbit coop. It was 107 degrees outside and the chickens and Rabbits had no food or water and were all panting and looked miserable!!! The chicken coop with the younger chickens waterer looked bone dry and had leaves in it. I told the nice staff and they claimed they couldn’t help because it was locked and they couldn’t get to it. I decided to take matters into my own hands and saw a water hose nearby so I filled up the waterers and they all immediately started drinking the water! I’m hoping this is an isolated incident and this isn’t how they treat their animals.

Very laid back atmosphere and food was delicious. Had just moved to a house nearby and was happy to find a cool place like this. Tried a few of their beers and all were tasty. Can’t wait to come back with the kids and the dogs!
