Contribuiți la feedbackThis initially looks like a temporary roadside pizza place. However the staff and food are excellent and it has a very devoted clientele. We try to eat there once a week and we are never disappointed. It is very good value for money. If you are looking for a dressed up sort of restaurant then this definitely is NOT for youbut if you like good pizza's this is your place, and kids will love it.Actually I am rather reluctant to recommend it in case we can't get in when the tourist season picks up!
Having left the Blue Note Concert in St Marial de Mirambeau due to a massive storm and the lack of food we went to Pizza Ria, having been there previously and enjoyed the food, even though not the worlds greatest pizza fan. The pizzas are very good and the staff very friendly. Many of the local French customers were very surprised that we were willing to go back out into the storm as it had knocked the power out in the restaurant a few times while we were there. Being hardy British types why would extreme thunder and lightning and a torrential downpour be a problem to us? lol This visit was in July 2015 but I have only just completed the review.
We like this place for their wonderful wood stove pizza, the nice folks who run it and the casual neighborhood feel of the place. the flamme pizza is absolutely delicious--i mean heaven.
This wooden shack does just what it says....cooks a really delicious pizza in front of you from scratch. You choose exactly what goes on top. Take it away sizzling hot to your cave or perch on a wooden chair with a bottle of wine or beer. Charming proprietors to chat to when the place isn't too packed, which isn't often!
What a super road side shack! Filled with locals who enjoy pizzas, duck, steak or salad. Best known for their pizzas but the magret de canard is outstanding too. It's very simple stuff, cheap and all the better for it. Service can be slow but the welcome is lovely. Highly recommend it.
