We are going to Bis because the menu offered cheese-based dishes, which put us water in the mouth. We are greeted by the waitress who seems outdated and unheard of. Several things seemed unsuitable, such as the handling of the cheese meule after taking orders and serving dishes without washing hands, asking customers the price of the wine bottle they took by talking very loudly through the room... The prices are very high for what is served on it, and when you ask for a dish by removing the cutlery it is not possible to decrease the price (a scraper with potato beans will therefore be at 30€, with or without cutlery), which is very bad for vegetarians for example. The explanation given by the waitress to this is not understandable, based on “we are one of the only restaurants open in winter and we must even refuse the world.” It’s a shame because the restaurant itself is charming, but the communication between the room and the kitchen is not functional as everyone could hear it during the service.
When we went to Saint emilion, we had dinner in this restaurant on a Saturday night, a very nice waitress, we took a traditional fondu it was incredible, the very kind manager too. Thanks for the good time we'll be back. The shepherdacois.
Nice welcome to Patrick and Romy, in this discreet restaurant on Guadet Street. We tasted a cooked magret with vine sarments, and a speciality in cheese from the abbey of Echourgnac, excellent. Château Bellevue 2019 from the vineyards Lydoire has very well accompanied these dishes. Come and push the door, you won't be disappointed. We will return to the beautiful days to enjoy the spot from the terrace, facing the Roy Louis VIII tower.
