La Terrasse Rouge - Saint-Émilion

We came here for Sunday dinner and are not disappointed. great view over the surrounding wine mountains. excellent well cooked and presented eating, with a comprehensive wine map of local wines. worth a visit!

A beautiful environment. we enjoyed a fantastic meal this evening in this highly recommended restaurant. the food was first-class and the service was excellent. with distance, the best restaurant we have eaten in the holy emilion.

Today we enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the la terrace rouge! the meal was delicious and beautifully plated. the service was perfect. the atmosphere and the view for a truly unforgettable experience!

Had multiple mistakes with service right from the first minute. Ordered a named champagne from menu but was poured another type. After highlighting to the waitress, a brief bickering ensued between the waitress who took the order and the other one who poured. This was eventually replaced with the right order. Then a glass of red wine was served even though we didn’t order so we flagged it and it was brought away. Then a plate of oysters arrived which we didn’t order either we hadn’t even ordered food yet). Service was chaotic and abrupt. The food was very mediocre and the only saving grace was the stunning view but this stunning view is also really everywhere around this lovely area. I’d rather sit atop a hill in the car having a sandwich and admiring this view from anywhere else rather than re visit this place.
