Forget the pretentious restaraunts, this more about delicious crepes, served with a smile. we visited this place several times and enjoyed eating each time. there is also the advantage of the hearty crepes from the protein that would be attractive for those on a gluten-free diet.
Good food, nice friendly place, in a beautiful location. pleasant seating both inside and outside. easy to find and very relaxing. we have eaten and loved several times there.
Neighbours recommended this restaurant to us some time ago. Finally got around to going and really enjoyed it. The service was great, the owner took time to chat to us and explain menu. Lovely situation near Port Maubert. We'll be back for sure!
Really good quality: tasty and generous crepes. A good choice of savory gallettes or sweet crepes served in a quirky, relaxed atmosphere inside the restaurant or on the terrace of this old Charentais farm house. Family run and friendly. The patron has a 'groovy ' style...all of his own and madame cooks to a very high standard. Excellent inexpensive local wines served by the '50cl picher ' to be enjoyed and fresh local produce. We live 20 minutes away and its a firm favourite with our friends and family. The best creperie we have found in this area. Advisable to book a table in summer. Just outside Saint Dizant du Gua on the Port Maubert road look for the 'rustic ' signs on the roadside!
Very complete pancakes, with very good ingredients, in a nice setting. Fried houses. very hearty child menu. adult menus at 18 euros: a salt pan, a sweet pancake, and a cider bowl. service and cook are top.
