We arrived at the hotel, tired and hungry. The restaurant is based just by reception. There was a limited choice but we had a lovely fish dish, washed down with a couple of carafes of house wine and we went to bed happy.

We ended up at Le Restaurant because we were looking for a decent restaurant. The restaurant looked very sterile, not a nice atmosphere, but okay, we were hungry. Never ever were we more disappointed with restaurant food not in France, not anywhere. My wife's...main dish was only some smoked salmon and a leaf of lettuce hardly a meal! I had some cabillaud stew but it was just mashed potatoe from powder with a vague fishy taste. The waiter was chatting at another table with other people all the time. We ate the food but we were so disappointed, after we paid (cheap but still too much for what we got and went straight to the McDonalds down the street. The hamburger at McDonalds certainly had more ingredients and more flavour than our meal at Le Restaurant. So please, take my tip: skip Le Restaurant and go straight to McDonalds or another restaurant.
