Theatre Gerard Philipe - Saint-Denis

My wife and I visited this restaurant after being attracted by the fantastic location and great vibe of the the theatre. Despite the great decoration and kind and attentive service, the food was a huge disappointment. We order a simple burger and steak tartare which...they manage to screw royally! For the price of the burger we could have easily eaten at the kebab shop across the road and had the same quality of ingredients and taste. The texture of the tartare was liquid and really acidic. The bread of the burger was industrial and fell apart and tasted like cardboard. The wine was way overpriced for the quality...come on! Overall, a real shame considering this place has a good vibe and such great potential in an area in desperate need of good place to eat. Looking forward to giving it a second chance.

Overall, a real shame to consider this place has a good mood and so great potential in a contrary, in which desperate need to eat at good place. I look forward to giving him a second chance.

Come without having dinner for a theatrical performance in the evening at the philippe choir theatre of Saint-Denis that we did not know, discovered that there was, on the floor, a very pleasant and practical restaurant, called “at the taste of the theatre”. We were first very kindly led by the service elevator, one of the people being plastered, and moving with crutches (thank you for the charming welcome of the employees of the theatre.) then were able to install and discover a simple card, with some originalities (a very good Thai dish, based on lentils in particular), a very pleasant and efficient staff, prices quite simple, a little relaxation and amusing table ... but ask for more!Thank you to the restaurant team, who didn’t leave his smile, his kindness and his speed, in the shot before the start of the show. We will remember you, and we will return if we are given to return to this beautiful theater in the near suburbs.

The theatre is in the juice, the restaurant room on the idem floor. held by young restorers, this unlikely place is very nice. The heteroclite furniture, the parquet a little sloping adds charm. in the plate a simple and copied kitchen: the ankle is xxl. Nice team. It's unpretentious. A good address.
