Le P'tit Machon - Saint-Claude

We were group of 8 friends we had to wait to order drinks for 45 minutes. ordering dinner takes 60 minutes. burger and chips were in order, pizza was out when the owner got a total of 30-40€ more money than put in bill. we explained his mistake....He understood and confirmed, but was not willing to correct his mistake. we were very disappointed.

Eating was not impressive. but I was blown away from the service (or it was missing) I can't remember when I received such terrible “service”. the 3 employees (the 7 people had to serve) were not in contact with, we waited 15...minutes to get the menu card and the wee came when we had almost finished eating.

Found this small restaurant randomly, from outside looks old and more like and old coffee, but within there is a beautiful dinning room, well furnished, the staff was very friendly, and we were really served fast. we had the grilled salmon with salat and the salatvinagrette was amazing. it will not matter to come back

When they go for a meal with friends and their partner, they can eat a little forgiven when the service is good. this place looks inviting and it is clean. the menu is also good with local choices. the reason why we don't go back there is that the hostess was just rude. the man is good and charming, his wife more like sybil fawlty. probably in order if they are local and French, but on the unpleasant if they are not.
